Almond & Peach Pie

For Base
200 Gms Blanched Almonds/Almond Slivers (Chopped)
½ Cup Dessicated Coconut
¾ Cup Crushed Marie Biscuits
2 Tbsp Sugar
60 Gms Butter (Firm)
For Filling
2-3 Tubs Sour Cream
Pinch Of Salt
1 Cup Icing Sugar
1-2 Tbsp Orange Juice
2 Tbsp Orange Rind
2 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
Sliced Peaches/Chopped


  1. Mix almonds, coconuts and sugar.
  2. Rub butter into the mixture.
  3. Reserve 3 tbsp of crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining crumbs onto the base and sides of a 9” greased dish. Bake in 275-300 degrees     centigrade for 10-12 mins until golden brown and then cool it.
  4. Place reserved crumbs into small pan and stir over low heat until golden & keep aside to cool.
  5. Combine sour cream, salt sifted icing sugar, orange juice, orange rind and vanilla essence. Pour into prepared pie shell.
  6. Arrange peach slices and mango pieces over top of filling. Lightly whip cream & remaining sifted icing sugar. Spoon or pipe around edge     of pie.7. Sprinkle with toasted crumbs.
  7. Chill in the fridge till cool before serving.
