Hot Mushroom Turnovers

Ingredients
For Dough
½ Cup Softened Cream Cheese
¾ Cup Flour
¼ Cup Melted Butter
Pinch Of Salt |
For Filling
½ Cup Minced Mushrooms
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Sour Cream
1 Tbsp Flour
½ Onion Finely Chopped
Salt & Pepper To Taste |
Method
- For the dough, mix all the ingredients and shape into a ball. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for an hour.
- For the filling, melt butter and fry onion; when soft, add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for a few minutes and leave to cool.
- Roll out dough and cut into 7 cm circles. Fill half the circle with filling. Fold like a curry puff and seal well. Place on a greased tray, brush with milk and bake in hot oven till golden brown.
